CoreAge Rx Review: Is It Legit?

CoreAge Rx review: compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide from $139/mo, or $79/mo on a 12-month plan, its unnamed pharmacy, its FDA record and complaints.

Last updated Oct 27, 2026
Quick answer

CoreAge Rx is an online GLP-1 program that prescribes compounded medication only: compounded semaglutide and compounded tirzepatide. Plans start at $79 a month on a 12-month plan, $948 up front, or $139 month to month. We rate it 8.1/10 (Good). It does not name the compounding pharmacy that fills its prescriptions, so the pharmacy's record can't be checked. Compounded drugs are not FDA-approved. No FDA warning letter is on file for CoreAge Rx as of Oct 26, 2026.

Compounded only
  • No FDA warning letter
  • LegitScript certified
  • Prices checked Oct 26, 2026

CoreAge Rx is an online program that sells compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide, with the drug and the shipping in one price that stays the same at every dose. It suits people who are ready to prepay a year for a low monthly rate.

We rate it 8.1 out of 10, tier Good. The price does not climb with the dose, but the pharmacy is unnamed and the states are not listed.

The catch is the headline. The $79 and $129 rates are 12-month plans paid in full, $948 and $1,548 up front; one month costs $139 or $199.

No FDA warning letter is on file for CoreAge Rx in the FDA’s published warning-letter list as of Oct 26, 2026. CoreAge Rx doesn't name its compounding pharmacy, so the pharmacy can't be cross-checked.

It’s for you if
  • You want one price that does not climb as your dose goes up.
  • You are ready to prepay a year for the $79 rate.
  • You want a doctor's reply within about a day.
  • You want coaching and a member community.
It’s not for you if
  • You want to know which pharmacy makes your drug.
  • You want a brand-name pen like Wegovy or Zepbound.
  • You don't want injections, or don't feel comfortable injecting yourself.

What is CoreAge Rx?

CoreAge Rx is an online weight-loss program that sells compounded GLP-1 injections, with the drug, the doctor and the shipping in one price. It adds coaching and a member community on top.

Here is how it goes. You answer a short quiz, which ends in "You have been pre-approved", and you pay. The medical intake and an ID check come after payment, and then a licensed medical provider reviews it and decides whether treatment is appropriate. The site says "All evaluations done by US board-certified physicians". If you qualify, the prescription goes to a pharmacy, and the drug ships to your door for free. Refills continue on the plan you chose.

The menu has two drugs, both compounded and both injections: semaglutide and tirzepatide. Each also comes as a microdosing program. The site says its compounded tirzepatide "is typically formulated with B-12". There is no brand-name option. Compounded GLP-1s are prepared by a pharmacy to a prescription, and they are not FDA-approved.

For the drugs themselves, read our pages on compounded semaglutide and compounded tirzepatide. CoreAge Rx does not publish a list of the states it serves.

Is CoreAge Rx legit?

Yes. CoreAge Rx is a real telehealth program with US board-certified doctors, public prices and a written terms page. It has no FDA warning letter and no open flag. What it leaves out is the pharmacy: it names none, so you cannot check who makes your drug.

The home page says only "Fast, free shipping from trusted pharmacies". The sale page behind its "Start your visit" button gives the pharmacy type: "U.S.-licensed doctors partner directly with 503A state board-regulated compounding pharmacies." A 503A pharmacy compounds a drug for one named patient, under a state board. CoreAge Rx names none of these pharmacies, so there is no FDA register entry to look up.

The product pages are clear on the drug. Each names the molecule, the injection form and the word compounded. The home page shows a LegitScript seal, and LegitScript lists coreagerx.com as a certified pharmacy and telemedicine site.

Compounded semaglutide costs $139 for one month, with the drug and the shipping included, and the checkout charges no consultation fee. Tirzepatide costs $199 for one month on the same terms.

We read both one-month prices in the checkout on October 26 and 27, 2026. They included a discount code, HALLOWEEN, that the site applies itself, off list prices of $340 and $449. The package screen runs a "FALL SALE" banner with a countdown. The checkout adds an entry to an Apple Watch giveaway and offers Klarna, Affirm and Afterpay.

The product pages now lead with "Starting at $79 per month" for semaglutide and $129 for tirzepatide. Those are the 12-month rates. CoreAge Rx's own offer page says "Prices shown are starting at, based on a 12-month plan paid in full." Twelve months at $79 is $948 up front. At $129 it is $1,548. In September the 12-month rates were $99 and $149.

The product pages also show "Starting at $93/mo". That is NAD+, an add-on, not a GLP-1 plan. Treat $139 as the monthly price.

There is no membership fee and no shipping fee. The checkout charges no consultation fee: it lists "Prescription & provider review" as "Included". The refund policy still says a consultation fee "may range from $50–$100" and is non-refundable once the review has begun. The FAQ says "In most cases, you may be eligible for a consultation at no-cost included with your order." CoreAge Rx does not accept insurance. Three months at the one-month rate total $417. A 3-month plan paid up front costs $327, or $109 a month, and a 6-month plan costs $534, or $89 a month. Every plan is paid in full and renews automatically.

We compare month-to-month prices: $139 for semaglutide ranks 13 of 45 compounded programs we track, against a median of $213.06 a month.

CoreAge Rx tirzepatide price

CoreAge Rx tirzepatide costs $199 for one month, after a discount code, HALLOWEEN, that the site applies itself, off a $449 list price. A 3-month plan costs $477, or $159 a month, and a 6-month plan $834, or $139 a month. It is $129 a month on a 12-month plan, paid in full at $1,548 up front. The offer page says "$129 is $129. On every dose."

The price is the same at every dose, so it does not rise as your provider moves you up. The checkout charges no consultation fee; the refund policy still mentions one of $50 to $100. Shipping is free. The $93 a month on this page is the NAD+ add-on, not tirzepatide. A tirzepatide microdosing program sits on its own page.

What to watch

The advertised $99/mo needs a 12-month plan paid in full; a single month is $190.

How does CoreAge Rx work?

The care starts with a doctor's review of your intake, and you hear back in about a day. The site says "Expect to receive feedback from one of our doctors within approximately 24 hours." The checkout says the drug arrives within 2 business days of approval; the package page FAQ says 3 to 5 business days.

The site says its doctors are US-based and board-certified. Beyond the review, CoreAge Rx runs a coaching and education community for members. It sells a daily supplement, GLP-1 Support, for people on semaglutide or tirzepatide.

That is where the detail ends. The checkout lists unlimited messaging with your doctor, but CoreAge Rx does not say whether you need labs. The product page asks you to follow "the prescribed doses and directions from your provider accurately".

Is CoreAge Rx safe? FDA status and warning letters

CoreAge Rx has no FDA warning letter and no open flag on its record. There is no pharmacy record to read, because CoreAge Rx names none.

The bigger question with any compounded program is the drug itself. Compounded GLP-1s are prepared by a pharmacy to a prescription. They are not FDA-approved: the FDA doesn't review their safety, effectiveness or quality before they're sold, and they are not the same as Wegovy or Zepbound. Formulas can differ from one pharmacy to the next, and some add ingredients such as vitamin B12. Compounding pharmacies are licensed and inspected by state boards of pharmacy; outsourcing facilities (503B) also register with the FDA and are inspected by it. The FDA can issue warning letters when either breaks rules on safety or sterility. Without a pharmacy name, you cannot check who made yours. Ask CoreAge Rx which pharmacy fills your order before your first shipment.

For side effects, doses and who should not take these drugs, read our pages on semaglutide side effects and tirzepatide side effects, which quote the FDA labels.

How to cancel CoreAge Rx

Cancellation
Minimum 12 months
Money-back guarantee
None published.

You can cancel a subscription at any time, in your patient account or through the Patient Care Team, to stop future renewal charges. The checkout terms say to cancel in the member portal or by email at least 3–5 days before your rebill date, with no fees and no minimum number of refills. Canceling does not refund an order that is already approved, sent to the pharmacy or shipped. The product pages say "No long-term contracts", but the 12-month rates are for a plan paid in full. Every plan renews automatically until you cancel, the 12-month plans included: they renew at $948 or $1,548 once every 12 months. Turning the renewal off costs 5% more.

The refund rule is strict. You can cancel an order for a refund only before a provider approves the prescription and before it goes to the pharmacy. After that, the page says "ALL PRESCRIPTION SALES ARE FINAL". Every order is final 30 days after purchase, even if nothing has shipped. If a provider finds you are not eligible, you get back the drug part of the payment. The refund policy also says a consultation fee of $50 to $100 is not refunded once the medical review has begun, though the checkout charges none.

The FAQ promises more. It says "If the provider does not approve your prescription, we automatically issue a 100% refund." The checkout agrees with the FAQ: if you are not eligible "for ANY reason, you will receive a full refund of your purchase price". The refund policy is narrower, so ask CoreAge Rx which rule applies before you pay.

So the trap is the headline. The $79 a month on the home page is the 12-month rate, paid in full. Do not prepay $948 or $1,548 for the 12-month rate unless you plan to stay a year. Start on one month until you know the drug suits you. If you have side effects, talk to your provider.

CoreAge Rx reviews and complaints

CoreAge Rx publishes no customer testimonials on the pages we read. This site collects no independent reviews, so there is nothing on this page from customers.

What CoreAge Rx offers instead is a members' community for coaching and education. That can tell you how the program runs once you are in. It tells you nothing before you pay.

The one thing to check before paying is the plan length: every plan renews automatically, and the 12-month plans are paid in full. At checkout, the box agreeing to marketing text messages is already ticked; untick it if you don't want them. Read the cost and cancel sections above.

How we scored CoreAge Rx

Our score combines seven checks. Each one counts for a fixed share of the total, listed below. Commission is not an input.

  • Price transparency: 8.21/10 (counts for 20% of the total score). Prices are public, the 12-month rates carry no coupon and our latest re-read matched, but the one-month coupon, the consultation fee and the dose ladder cost it.
  • Cost and value: 8/10 (counts for 15% of the total score). We compare month-to-month prices: $139 for one month of semaglutide ranks 13 of 45 compounded programs we track, against a median of $213.06. The 3-, 6- and 12-month plans cost less a month, but we do not compare them.
  • Medication and pharmacy traceability: 7.2/10 (counts for 15% of the total score). No pharmacy named; the sale page and the checkout FAQ say 503A.
  • Clinical access and oversight: 8.25/10 (counts for 15% of the total score). Board-certified doctors and no lab policy; the checkout lists unlimited messaging with your doctor, and the FAQ says a doctor replies within about 24 hours.
  • Safety and enforcement: 10/10 (counts for 20% of the total score). No letter, no flag, and a LegitScript certification.
  • Terms, commitment and refunds: 6.25/10 (counts for 10% of the total score). One-month plans cancel anytime, but the 12-month plans are paid in full and a sale is final once the pharmacy has the order.
  • Availability and fulfillment: 7.25/10 (counts for 5% of the total score). Free, fast shipping, no state list.

Since our last check, the 12-month rates fell to $79 and $129 and the refund page now sets out its terms. We rescored CoreAge Rx on October 10. Price transparency rose from 6.57 to 7.36, and terms fell from 8.25 to 6.25 for the prepaid 12-month plans. The total holds at 6.4. We rescored it again on October 16. Price transparency rose from 7.36 to 8.21, because our latest price re-read matched the prices on record. Its rank moved from 14 of 19 to 15 of 20, so cost and value fell from 4 to 3. The total holds at 6.4. On October 26 we confirmed its LegitScript certification, so safety rose from 8.75 to 10 and the total from 6.4 to 6.7. We rescored CoreAge Rx on October 26, 2026, when we began ranking every compounded program in one list of 45 instead of by the mix of drugs it sells. Cost and value rose from 3 to 5, and the total from 6.7 to 7, tier Good. We rescored CoreAge Rx on October 27, 2026, from its own sign-up checkout: one month of semaglutide costs $139, not $190, so it ranks 13 of 45 and cost and value rose from 5 to 8; traceability rose from 5.8 to 7.2 for the 503A pharmacy type; and clinical access rose from 4.75 to 8.25 for the messaging the checkout lists and the 24-hour reply the FAQ states. The total moved from 7.0 to 8.1. The method is on our methodology page.

CoreAge Rx FAQ

Yes. CoreAge Rx uses US board-certified doctors, publishes its prices and has no FDA warning letter.1 It names no pharmacy and lists no states, so two checks are left to you. The full checks are in the legit section.

CoreAge Rx is $139 for one month of compounded semaglutide or $199 for tirzepatide, and the checkout charges no consultation fee.20 The $79 and $129 rates need a 12-month plan paid in full.15 The full ladder is in the cost section.

No telehealth program is FDA approved; the FDA approves medications. CoreAge Rx's GLP-1 menu is compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide only.1012 Compounded drugs are not FDA approved. It offers no brand-name pen such as Wegovy or Zepbound, which are the approved versions. It has no FDA warning letter on file; see the safety section.

We cannot tell you. CoreAge Rx does not publish a list of the states it serves on the pages we read. Ask CoreAge Rx to confirm your state before you pay; you pay before the medical intake.20

We hold no complaint data. Three terms are the likely cause of one. The $79 headline needs a 12-month prepay.15 The refund policy mentions a consultation fee of $50 to $100 that is not refunded once the medical review has begun, though the checkout charges none.420 And once the pharmacy has your order, the sale is final.4 See the cancel section.

It is a real compounded tirzepatide program with board-certified doctors and no FDA warning letter on file.112 But CoreAge Rx names no pharmacy for it, so you cannot check who makes it.1 It is not Zepbound and not FDA approved. It costs $199 for one month, or $129 a month on a 12-month plan.2015

We do not collect Reddit threads; this review rests on CoreAge Rx's own pages and the FDA record. If you read them, check what posters paid against the $139 one-month rate, whether a consultation fee was charged, and which pharmacy filled the order.24
