Embody (Embody Meds) is an online program that sells compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide injections, with the doctor, the drug and the shipping in one monthly price. It suits you if you want a compounded GLP-1 at a low, flat rate and do not need a brand-name pen.
We rate it 9.2 out of 10, tier Excellent. Every fee is $0, it names its pharmacies, and it ranks 8 of the 45 compounded programs we track on month-to-month prices.
Embody is running a Black Friday sale until December 1, 2026: $49 a month for compounded semaglutide and $99 a month for compounded tirzepatide on a 12-month plan. Month to month, the sale prices are $99 and $149. The checkout says the rate you sign up at stays for the life of your plan.
No FDA warning letter is on file for Embody in the FDA’s published warning-letter list as of Oct 26, 2026.

What is Embody?
Embody is an online weight-loss program that sells compounded GLP-1 injections on a subscription. The provider consult, the medication and the delivery are all included in one monthly price.
Here is the process. You fill in an intake form on the site. A doctor from OpenLoop Health, a network of US-licensed physicians, reviews it and decides whether a GLP-1 suits you. If it does, the prescription goes to one of the compounding pharmacies Embody works with. The medication ships to your door for free, in 1-2 days. Refills continue on the same subscription, with a nursing team and provider messaging in between.
The menu has two drugs, both compounded and both weekly injections: semaglutide and tirzepatide. There is no brand-name option. Compounded GLP-1s are prepared by a pharmacy to a prescription, and they are not FDA-approved; the safety section explains what that means. To understand the drugs themselves, read our pages on compounded semaglutide and compounded tirzepatide. Embody serves every US state except Louisiana, and in Nebraska only patients 19 and over.
How much does Embody cost?
Until December 1, 2026, Embody's Black Friday sale prices compounded semaglutide at $49 a month and compounded tirzepatide at $99 a month on a 12-month plan, with the doctor and the shipping included. On the monthly plan, which you can cancel at any time, the sale prices are $99 and $149 a month. Each monthly charge covers a 4-week supply, so you pay 13 times a year: $1,287 for semaglutide, $1,937 for tirzepatide. The checkout applies the promo code "BLACKFRIDAY" for you. The membership fee, the consultation fee and the shipping fee are each $0.
The checkout says "The price you see today is the price you pay forever", so a plan bought during the sale keeps its rate. The main site says the rate depends on the plan you pick at checkout, from 4 to 52 weeks.
Embody does not bill insurance. Three 4-week charges at the monthly semaglutide rate total $297 (12 weeks), with no fees added. Billed every 28 days, the $99 monthly rate is about $107.62 a month, which puts Embody at rank 8 of the 45 compounded programs we track on month-to-month prices. The median is $213.06 a month.
Embody semaglutide price
During the Black Friday sale, until December 1, 2026, compounded semaglutide costs $49 a month on a 12-month plan. On the monthly plan, which you can cancel at any time, it costs $99 a month. Both prices include the doctor, the medication and the shipping, with no membership or consultation fee.
The 3-month plan costs $89 a month, billed as $267 for a 12-week supply, and the 6-month plan $79 a month, billed as $474 for a 24-week supply. These multi-month plans are a commitment you pay for up front. Confirm your rate at checkout before you pay.
For scale, a pharmacy pays $871.12 for a Wegovy 1.7 mg pen package, effective September 23, 2026. That is an acquisition cost for the brand-name drug, not what a patient pays.
Embody tirzepatide price
During the Black Friday sale, until December 1, 2026, compounded tirzepatide costs $99 a month on a 12-month plan. On the monthly plan, with no minimum term, it costs $149 a month. The 3-month plan costs $139 a month ($417 up front) and the 6-month plan $129 a month ($774 up front). Both prices include the doctor, the medication and free shipping.
The main site says pricing varies only by the plan you select at checkout, from 4 to 52 weeks. So treat $149 as the month-to-month price and $99 as the price of a year's lock.
Embody bills no consultation, membership or shipping fee, so the drug price is the whole price. For what tirzepatide is, read our compounded tirzepatide page.

Can you trust Embody?
Embody names its prescriber network, OpenLoop Health, and the four pharmacies that fill its prescriptions: Red Rock Compounding Pharmacy, Health Warehouse, Precision Medicine and Triad Rx. Embody itself has no FDA warning letter and no open flag, and it says plainly that its drugs are compounded. One of its pharmacies has an FDA record: Triad Rx received a warning letter on February 5, 2019, which the FDA closed out on May 3, 2023.
Embody says its pharmacies are "US based 503A compounding pharmacies". A 503A pharmacy compounds for a named patient on a prescription and is licensed by a state board. None of the four is a 503B outsourcing facility on the FDA's register, which is normal for that pharmacy type. The FDA still inspects 503A pharmacies and publishes what it finds; the safety section has what it found for these four.
The medical entity behind the service is Modern Metabolic Medicine. Each product page names the molecule and the form. Traceability scores 9 out of 10.
How does Embody work?
The care runs through a nursing team and a patient portal, not scheduled video visits. After intake, a doctor reviews your case within 24 hours, often in under 5 hours. The checkout calls you approved, under a 10-minute countdown, before a doctor has reviewed anything. The medication ships the same day for orders before 2 PM CT.
From there you get 1:1 support from a nursing team, provider messaging and regular check-ins in the portal. Embody advertises 24/7 specialist messaging, unlimited appointments, a personalized care plan and a metabolic report as part of the price. The prescriber sets your dose: "Our providers will do their best to match you with the dosage that best fits your needs and journey."
The terms state that Modern Metabolic Medicine "does not manufacture, dispense, or control the formulation of any medications" it prescribes. Embody does not state whether it asks for labs before or during treatment. Clinical care scores 8.25 out of 10, and a stated lab policy is what would lift it.
Is Embody safe? FDA status and warning letters
Embody has no FDA warning letter and no open flag on its record. Two of its four pharmacies have an FDA record, which we matched on the addresses Embody lists, not on their names alone.
Triad Rx, at the Daphne, Alabama address Embody lists, received an FDA warning letter on February 5, 2019, for making sterile drugs under insanitary conditions. The FDA closed out the letter on May 3, 2023.
On July 31, 2026, the FDA issued a Form 483, a list of inspection observations, to Red Rock Pharmacy's site in Springville, Utah. Its observations include how the pharmacy tested its sterile filling process while filling semaglutide and tirzepatide lots. Embody lists Red Rock's St. George, Utah site and doesn't say which site fills its orders. Health Warehouse and Precision Medicine have no FDA action on the lists we check.
The bigger question with any compounded program is the drug itself. Compounded GLP-1s are prepared by a pharmacy to a prescription. They are not FDA-approved: the FDA doesn't review their safety, effectiveness or quality before they're sold, and they are not the same as Wegovy or Zepbound. Formulas can differ from one pharmacy to the next, and some add ingredients such as vitamin B12. Compounding pharmacies are licensed and inspected by state boards of pharmacy; outsourcing facilities (503B) also register with the FDA and are inspected by it. The FDA can issue warning letters when either breaks rules on safety or sterility.
Embody's intake pages carry a clinical note of their own: "For those taking Tirzepatide, we recommend switching to a non-oral contraceptive method or adding a barrier method of contraception for four weeks after initiation and for four weeks after each dose escalation."
For side effects, doses and who should not take these drugs, read our pages on semaglutide side effects and tirzepatide side effects, which quote the FDA labels. Safety scores 10 out of 10 on this record.
How to cancel Embody
It depends on the plan you chose. The monthly plans have no contract: "With Embody there are no contracts for our month to month pricing." The multi-month plans are a commitment: the terms say you "agree to the full commitment period selected", and the refund policy makes them non-refundable. To stop the next charge, the terms say "Cancellation requests must be received at least 72 hours prior to your next billing date in order to stop the next charge."
Refunds are narrow: you get one only if a provider finds you don't medically qualify, and then only for the unused part of your term, less the services already provided. The checkout page promises more: "If your provider can't approve your prescription you will receive a full refund." Consultation fees are not refunded. Medication that has been prescribed, compounded or shipped can't be returned or refunded.
So the trap is simple. Do not prepay 12 months for the $49 or $99 sale price unless you are sure you will stay on the drug for a year. If you have side effects, talk to your provider. Terms score 8 out of 10: the monthly plans are clean, the annual lock costs the rest.
On the sign-up form, the box agreeing to marketing calls and texts is already ticked; untick it if you don't want them.

What customers say about Embody
Embody publishes 11 testimonials on its offer page. Most give the pounds the writer lost; we don't repeat those figures, because one person's result doesn't show how well a program works. Several mention the support: "Having real support at every step made it easier to stay on track." Embody's own footer says that, for patient privacy, images representing the testimonials "may use models".
This site collects no independent reviews, and Embody is a newer platform with few reviews elsewhere. For what you will pay and what you sign, read the cost and cancel sections above.
How we scored Embody
Our score combines seven checks. Each one counts for a fixed share of the total, listed below. Commission is not an input.
- Price transparency: 9.71/10 (counts for 20% of the total score). Every fee is $0 and every price held, but the landing page omits the plan length behind its rates.
- Cost and value: 9/10 (counts for 15% of the total score). We compare month-to-month prices: $99 every 28 days for semaglutide, about $107.62 a month, ranks 8 of 45 compounded programs we track, against a median of $213.06, with no fee on top.
- Medication and pharmacy traceability: 9/10 (counts for 15% of the total score). Four pharmacies named, with their addresses.
- Clinical access and oversight: 8.25/10 (counts for 15% of the total score). A named prescriber network and a stated wait time, but no lab policy.
- Safety and enforcement: 10/10 (counts for 20% of the total score). No warning letter against Embody and no open flag. One of its pharmacies, Triad Rx, had an FDA warning letter in 2019 that the FDA has closed out, and a closed-out letter costs no points. The Form 483 is not part of this check.
- Terms, commitment and refunds: 8/10 (counts for 10% of the total score). The monthly plans cancel anytime; the 12-month plans do not.
- Availability and fulfillment: 9.94/10 (counts for 5% of the total score). 49 states and free shipping.
We rescored Embody on October 16. Safety fell from 10 to 9.25 after we matched Triad Rx's warning letter to the address Embody lists for it, and the total fell from 9.3 to 9.2, still Excellent. We rescored Embody on October 27, 2026, from its own sign-up checkout, at its Black Friday prices: we now rank every compounded program in one list of 45 and count a bill every 28 days as 13 charges a year, so its $99 monthly plan, about $107.62 a month, ranks 8, and Cost and value fell from 10 to 9; Safety rose from 9.25 to 10, because a warning letter the FDA has closed out no longer costs points. The total held at 9.2. The method is on our methodology page.
