MyDrHank Review: Is It Legit?

MyDrHank review: compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide from $249/mo month to month ($171/mo on a 12-month plan), whether it names its pharmacy, FDA warning letters and complaints. See if it's legit.

Last updated Oct 27, 2026
Quick answer

MyDrHank is an online GLP-1 program that prescribes compounded medication only: compounded semaglutide and compounded tirzepatide. Plans start at $249 a month. We rate it 7.5/10 (Good). It does not name the compounding pharmacy that fills its prescriptions, so the pharmacy's record can't be checked. Compounded drugs are not FDA-approved. No FDA warning letter is on file for MyDrHank as of Oct 26, 2026.

Compounded only
  • No FDA warning letter
  • Prices checked Oct 26, 2026

MyDrHank is an online clinic that sells compounded GLP-1s at one price per drug at every dose, billed monthly or on 3-, 6- or 12-month plans. It suits people who want compounded semaglutide or tirzepatide on a monthly plan, and anyone who wants a daily tablet instead of a shot.

We rate it 7.5 out of 10, tier Good. Every fee is $0 and you can cancel anytime, but the pharmacies are not named.

The catch: MyDrHank publishes no refund policy, and it does not name its pharmacies.

What is MyDrHank?

MyDrHank is a telehealth brand that sells compounded weight-loss drugs, along with hair loss and anti-aging treatments. Weight loss is its main line.

Here is how it goes. You fill in an online intake. A U.S.-licensed clinician reviews it and decides whether a GLP-1 fits you. If it does, the prescription goes to a compounding pharmacy, and the drug ships to your door. Refills continue month to month, with check-ins and dose changes from the care team.

The menu has three products, all compounded. Compounded semaglutide comes as a weekly injection, mixed with vitamin B-12 or with glycine. Compounded tirzepatide also comes as a weekly injection, with vitamin B-12 or glycine. The third is a daily tablet, semaglutide with a low dose of ondansetron. There is no brand-name option.

Compounded GLP-1s are prepared by a pharmacy to a prescription, and they are not FDA-approved, as MyDrHank says on its site. To understand the drugs themselves, read our pages on compounded semaglutide and compounded tirzepatide. MyDrHank ships to the contiguous US only.

Is MyDrHank legit?

Yes. MyDrHank is a real telehealth brand with licensed prescribers, a clear account of how its drugs are made, and no FDA warning letter. The gap is that it does not name its pharmacies, so you cannot check them yourself.

The site states "MyDrHank prescribes compounded medications prepared by FDA-registered pharmacies." It says these are compounding pharmacies that fill a prescription for one named patient, the kind state boards regulate. But it gives no names, and the list is available only on request. With no names, there is nothing to match against the FDA register we read.

The rest is clear. Each product page names the molecule, the form and what it is mixed with. The site says plainly that the drugs are compounded. Ask for the pharmacy list before your first order, and look each name up on your state board's site.

The semaglutide tablet is $249 a month billed monthly, or $171 a month on a 12-month plan ($2,057), with the drug, the provider and shipping included. There is no other fee.

The injections cost more. Compounded semaglutide is $259 and compounded tirzepatide $349 billed monthly; they are $178 and $240 a month on 12-month plans. The weight-loss page lists the same three lowest prices as the product pages.

Each price is flat at every dose, so it does not rise as your dose goes up. There is no membership fee, no consultation fee and no shipping fee. MyDrHank does not bill insurance. Its product pages show no plan totals and no discount code, only one from-price per drug. Its GLP-1 page sells 3-month plans or longer with a $99 first month: "Your first month is $99 on 3-month plans or longer." Three months of the tablet billed monthly total $747, or $635 on the 3-month plan, with no fees added.

That puts MyDrHank at rank 29 of the 45 compounded programs we track on month-to-month prices. The median there is $213.06 a month, $35.94 below its price. For scale, a pharmacy pays $871.12 for a Wegovy 1.7 mg pen package, effective September 23, 2026. That is an acquisition cost for the brand-name drug, not what a patient pays.

How does MyDrHank work?

The care runs through a care team you message, not scheduled video visits. The team checks in on you and adjusts your dose over time.

A licensed provider decides whether you are eligible. The terms say a provider "will only prescribe a medication as determined in his/her own discretion and professional judgment." Its GLP-1 pages say most patients are reviewed within 24 hours.

Once approved, the drug ships free to your door, and refills follow each month until you cancel. MyDrHank does not state whether you need labs, or how often follow-ups happen. Ask the care team both questions before you pay.

Is MyDrHank safe? FDA status and warning letters

MyDrHank has no FDA warning letter and no open flag on its record. There is nothing against a pharmacy either, because none is named.

The bigger question with any compounded program is the drug itself. Compounded GLP-1s are prepared by a pharmacy to a prescription. They are not FDA-approved: the FDA doesn't review their safety, effectiveness or quality before they're sold, and they are not the same as Wegovy or Zepbound. Formulas can differ from one pharmacy to the next, and some add ingredients such as vitamin B12. Compounding pharmacies are licensed and inspected by state boards of pharmacy; outsourcing facilities (503B) also register with the FDA and are inspected by it. The FDA can issue warning letters when either breaks rules on safety or sterility. MyDrHank's mixes add a second ingredient: vitamin B-12 or glycine in the shots, and ondansetron in the tablet. Ask your provider about both before you start.

For side effects, doses and who should not take these drugs, read our pages on semaglutide side effects and tirzepatide side effects, which quote the FDA labels.

How to cancel MyDrHank

Cancellation
Cancel anytime
Money-back guarantee
None published.

You can cancel at any time, and the monthly plan has no minimum term. The weight-loss page says "No commitment · 5-min intake". The 3-, 6- and 12-month plans cost less per month; ask whether they are paid upfront and refundable. If you have side effects, talk to your provider.

MyDrHank publishes no refund policy on the pages we read. Neither its terms of use nor the terms of service in its intake mention refunds or cancellation. Ask the care team how to cancel, and what happens to a month you have already paid for, before your first order.

What customers say about MyDrHank

We found no patient testimonial on the MyDrHank pages we read, so there are no quote cards on this page. The only voice on the site is the brand's own. This site collects no independent reviews either.

That leaves you with little to go on from other patients. MyDrHank is a small brand, and independent reviews of it are thin. Read the prices and the cancel rules above for what you will pay and what you sign. If you want to hear from other patients first, look for independent reviews before your first order, and check whether they mention canceling.

How we scored MyDrHank

Our score combines seven checks. Each one counts for a fixed share of the total, listed below. Commission is not an input.

  • Price transparency: 9.14/10 (counts for 20% of the total score). The lowest price is on each product page, but not the monthly price or the plan lengths behind it.
  • Cost and value: 4/10 (counts for 15% of the total score). We compare month-to-month prices: $249 for the semaglutide tablet billed monthly ranks 29 of 45 compounded programs we track, against a median of $213.06, with no fee load.
  • Medication and pharmacy traceability: 7.2/10 (counts for 15% of the total score). The pharmacy type is stated, the names are not.
  • Clinical access and oversight: 7.2/10 (counts for 15% of the total score). A 24-hour review time, stated on its GLP-1 landing pages, and no lab policy.
  • Safety and enforcement: 8.75/10 (counts for 20% of the total score). No FDA warning letter and no open flag.
  • Terms, commitment and refunds: 8.25/10 (counts for 10% of the total score). Cancel anytime with no commitment, but no refund policy.
  • Availability and fulfillment: 7/10 (counts for 5% of the total score). Free shipping, but no state count.

We rescored MyDrHank on October 16, after its group grew to 20 programs. Its rank fell from 10 to 11, so cost and value fell from 6 to 5, and the total fell from 8.0 to 7.8. We rescored MyDrHank on October 26, 2026, when we began ranking every compounded program in one list of 45 instead of by the mix of drugs it sells. Cost and value rose from 5 to 7, and the total from 7.8 to 8.1. We rescored MyDrHank on October 27, 2026, from its own price table, which shows that $171 is the tablet's per-month rate on a 12-month plan and $249 its monthly price: cost and value fell from 7 to 4, and price transparency from 10 to 9.14. The total moved from 8.1 to 7.5. The method is on our methodology page.
